Why is Crown of Liberty luxury scalp care?

Crown of Liberty is luxury scalp care because of what the $95 holds: one formula built as a whole, from botanical extracts drawn mostly from five Eastern traditions, two actives at the level their suppliers studied, a mild PHA, and a water-light base formulated to pH 4.5 to 5.0; a soft-pinned wooden brush in the box; a daily ritual Revi learned in Phuket; and a first batch kept small on purpose. It balances oil, and leaves the scalp feeling calm and comfortable, with less visible flaking. That is what it does, and that is what we say.

The formula, built as one piece

The luxury of a formula is in how every part is chosen to sit with the others. The Scalp Tonic is a water-based fluid: botanical extracts, most of them from the traditions of India, Korea, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia; two actives from European ingredient houses, each used at the level its supplier studied; a mild PHA; humectants; and menthol and peppermint for a cool note. The whole is formulated to pH 4.5 to 5.0, inside the scalp's own slightly acidic range.

It is light. Three or four drops to a part, pressed in until they disappear, and it stays on: nothing to rinse, no residue on the hair.

The ritual comes in the box

Part, drop, press. The hair is parted with the fingers, the drops go on the skin of each part, and the fingertips press them in, slowly. In the box, with the bottle, is a soft-pinned wooden scalp brush. Drawn gently through each part, it spreads the drops across the skin. Fingertips do the same work; the brush is there for the days you want the ritual to feel like one.

A cool tingle within about a minute, then a fade. Its strength varies from person to person; it is a sensation, not a measurement.

A founder, and a team

Revi Orenstein, who founded Crown of Liberty, learned scalp care in Phuket as a practice: the hair parted by hand, the skin worked slowly, a few minutes given to it each day. She developed the formula with a team of chemists, a dermatologist, and cosmetic advisors. The East gave the ritual; the West gave the measurements. Who is behind the formula says who did what.

Batch 01 is small on purpose

Crown of Liberty starts with one product. Batch 01 is its first run, and it is small on purpose. The list gets first access.

The object, and the calm

A 50 ml glass dropper bottle, the object you will handle every day, in a box that opens well. The design is quiet on purpose. So is everything around it: no countdown, no promise the formula cannot keep, a few slow minutes once a day, morning or evening.

Questions people ask

Why is the Scalp Tonic $95?

Because of the whole of it: a formula built as one piece, a wooden brush in the box, the ritual it is made for, the people who developed it, and a first batch kept small.

What comes in the box?

The Scalp Tonic, 50 ml (1.7 fl oz), and a soft-pinned wooden scalp brush.

Why 50 ml?

A leave-in dosed in drops does not need volume. 50 ml is sized to the daily routine: used as directed, a bottle lasts about 45 days.
